Company Search - Lithuania

 

Through the EBR service it is possible to search only among the actual names of the companies, while in the local service http://www.registrucentras.lt/jar_p_en/ it is possible to search also using historical names.

 

The algorithm in use is “Contains Phrase” , that is “Contains all words” or “Contains beginning of all words”. Words should be separated by space in the search string. Wild card “*” is automatically applied to the end of each word.

 

Special symbols are ignored and substituted by spaces: ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ ( ) _ - = { [ } ] \ | ; ‘’ ,< > ? ”

 

The Lithuanian register holds company names that are mainly in Lithuanian. In EBR Names are searchable without national characters, Latin letters A-Z will be enough. National letters are substituted to Latin letters A-Z:

Small letters are converted to Capital letters.

 

The order of words and small or capital letters used in the search are irrelevant.

 

Non searchable words:

Some frequently occurring words that are mandatory in the company names are ignored in the search. List of these words is given in Table:

Advanced search: Registration Number (Company Code) should be 9 or 7 digits.
